AstroEma Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Hello all, I am having a very hard time with TrackIR and looking down to the left or right console on the A10C. Moreover, the pitch stops at 80-90 degrees I would say, along with the zoom. Does the virtual cockpit have boundaries? Or there's something wrong with my profile? Thanks! e. Are you making sure the LED's are centered with the camera in the TiR software? I wear a delan clip on the right side of my head.. so my TIR 5 camera is on my right as well on top of the monitor. Try tilting your hat/headset forward backward or even change the angle of your clip so that when you look down one end of the clip isn't blocking the middle LED. It can be a little frustrating but as long as I make sure I'm centered and my headset/clip is at the right angle you should be able to look around the cockpit smoothly. EntropySG Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 yeha what he said. Open TrackIR and look at the camera view, there should be 3 green dots. Move your head and verify. Once you move to an angle where the LEDs are not properly visible, the green dots will turn red. Often times you can fix it by simply readjusting your headseat (when you look down and have problems, move the headseat a bit up for example). First thing you should do before tweaking profiles is adjusting the position of the LEDs and most importantly, the camera if that still doesnt help, simply make your curves steeper so you need less head movement [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
