SFJackBauer Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Why the Super 530D cannot be loaded in the fuselage stations, like
Zeus67 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 For safety concerns. The Super 530 are rail launched unlike the MICA in the picture that are dropped at launch so their engine ignite below the aircraft. This means that you cannot use the rear pylons, because the engine plume and exhaust will destroy the rear ones. Also the engine exhaust has a high probability of being ingested by the air intakes and damage the aircraft engine. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
SFJackBauer Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 Oh of course, I never noticed they were rail-launched. Thanks
jojo Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Despite similar shape, the Super 530D is bigger (270kg/ 3.81m) than Mica (112kg/ 3.1m). So maybe it wouldn't fit there. Mirage fanatic !
