Blackouts and redouts

So, with my first hour in the Gazelle I'm having a lot of fun, dancing the conga again just like in the Mi-8 and the KA50 before that.

 

One thing that struck me was the fact that the pilot blacks out quite suddenly. I don't have a G-meter handy so either its my flying skills and yes, they are sucky at best, or the poor fellow isn't G-hardened.

 

One possible bug was durig a rather hard landing the screen remained black even as I powered the helicopter down.

I've noticed it goes black if I quickly put the collective down after touching the ground. I'm sure rapidly lowering the collective like that, even on the ground, will have some negative affect but I'm sure it's not generating the sort of G's to blackout the pilot.
