Ya, I've contemplated doing something like that. Thanks for the advice.

 

I have the Saitek Combat Pro pedals (the round medal foot pedal is more like a helicopter anti-torque pedal vs. most other rudder pedals). I turned the spring force down to minimum, and the center detent doesn't seem to bother me any, but it could be better.

For me no spring and no centre detent and some negative curvature just to improve toque pedal authority and also reduce the pedal travel, the trucks that the pedals ride on seem to provide enough force to overcome when operating them.

 

As I said I just tried to approximate the amount of sim pedal movement verses my feet and as best I can remember how it felt in an R44.
