mi-k Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 hi guys, Hi. I did install Helios Under Windows10 with no problem, it's all working except all my guages on the panel are freeze, nothing move, seems the export file doen't work. I' tried with only one guage (ADI) and made the export file via the profile software. If anyone have a clue of what is going on i'll apreciate. can't find any recent information anywhere here. Thanks you.
Capt Zeen Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 what profile are you using? Be sure you put the export.lua in the correct folder. Usualy, if the gauges dont move is because the export.lua is not working, or not present. Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
mi-k Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 thank you i've the export file in the default folder created by Helios. How to know if it's the right one for my A10C ? I'm under windows 10.
FSFIan Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Export.lua belongs in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts for DCS 1.5 or %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Scripts if you are using 2.0. DCS-BIOS | How to export CMSP, RWR, etc. through MonitorSetup.lua
mi-k Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 This is exactely what i have. The export.lua file is present in the right folder. (i downloaded that export on this french forum "http://www.3rd-wing.net/index.php?showtopic=12719". I don't really understang what's going on, i tried on two different computers with no results. Is there a sequence to launch Helios correctly ? i use to launch helios CMS first with the profile i've created (only the adi instrument), and start that profile via the control center and then after that i start the dcs A10C 1.5. Is threre anything wrong in my sequence ? or may be somethin to check in dcs with the A10C ? thank's again.
Capt Zeen Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Just to be sure: - download one of my export.lua from my web site www.captzeen.com - copy it in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts - if you are using a custom profile, width one ADI instruments, be sure you has conected the correct inputs on the Helios profile editor, Dragging the instrument to the workspace is not the only thing you need to do. You need to conect the inputs, from the a10C interface, if not, the instrument dont work. - Of course, you need to include the A10C interface on your profile! - To be sure, use one of the already done profiles for the A10C or any other, just to check you export.lua - Helios Control panel, DON'T need a special sequence to work, you can start it after, or before the game, and it works. mi-k Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 Great i try those actions tomorrow and let you know. Thank's a lot.
mi-k Posted May 9, 2016 Author Posted May 9, 2016 Finally resolved. My problem came from the installer i used, I didn't use the A10C from dcs menu but from a full installer which install only the A10C and it seems that it doesn't work with Helios may be because of the profile folder not the same. So i uninstall that one and i reinstall DCS world with my A10C key, and all work fine directly. Thank a lot for your help.
