jasonstory44 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 So I'm trying to get my new pit up and running with my new computer. I have recently found that my 8 inch Lilliput USB monitors (which I use for my MFCDs) do not play nicely with my NVIDIA TI980 and NVIA control panel. Does anyone have a work around for this? I cannot find any online.... Or can anyone make a suggestion about different monitors to use for MFCDs? Thanks Jason Win 10 Pro, Intel i9 9900k overclocked to 5.1 (water cooled), 64 gb Corsair Dominator platinum RAM (3444 MHz) Titan RTX overclocked and water cooled 1.1 TB SSD 2 TB M.2 SSD TM Warthog Stick and throttle MFG Crosswinds Reverb VR Buttkicker LFE, SimShaker, Jetseat. GregP Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Wish I could add something useful, but all I have to share is empathy--I struggled with the exact same issue a few years ago and eventually gave up on the USB monitors, just wasn't worth the constant hassle anymore.
hansangb Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Hmm. I had 980 about three months ago with 8" Lilliputs. I had zero issues. But it may have to do with SLI, did you try disconnecting SLI to rule it out? hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
jasonstory44 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 Yea I I'm not using SLI currently. But actually I figured out that it didn't matter that it didn't play well with the NVIDIA control panel. I just configured them in Windows and then found your post/tutorial and monitor.lua to be invaluable. Thank you so much hansangb! Got it all sorted!
