You are just wasting peoples time. I am not here to waste your time but you seem to want to play a game. Good for you.

Even though you have said you are unbiased it really doesn't come across that way. I will put my hand up and say I am unbiased. I have built the pit, I have made copies of all the instruments in the A10, I have helped a lot of people do it and I have also done the same for accommodating something like the rift with nice pits.

I get fun in both. There are definite advantages to the rift that work for me, like space and $$ although I love the pits. I wouldnt have spent so many hours on them if I didn't. For someone like me who is happy in either environment I don't understand your perspective.

I can only coming to the conclusion that you sell projection systems and this is the reason behind it.

Anyhow, what is mixed VR you have coined? Given you know the definitions I am keen to hear.

mixed VR- if you are interested in learning more here is somewhere to start https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixed_reality

anyways - I came from the other end - used to own 3D goggles and used to believe that it will be the future and the only way to go - I've ended up with eye cataracts and eye problems (courtesy of short wavelength blue light and cheap plastic lenses - if you don't know about it here is from AOA [ame]http://www.aoa.org/Documents/CRG/Blue%20Light%20and%20Eye%20Damage.pdf[/ame] ) and that's why I moved away from it.

Okay I read the brochure. Not many numbers, findings or references there. Just some handy life-hints which most of us already know.

Don't look at a solar eclipse, don't use screens before bed (it'll keep you awake) and don't stare into the bright equipment you find at an ophthalmologist or dentist's office... Got it!

I think I preferred the marketing double-speak to the fear-mongering.

It's not a fear mongering - if you keep eye on the technical side and development you know the 3D goggles manufacturers know about the problem and made considerable effort to fix it. The new displays that are coming up have quite safe displays and you can find the info on wavelengths in technical specs and latest press releases and papers on gogles for 3D displays (it can give you a hint that I wasn't the only one).
