Martillo1 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 The APU starts without turning on pumps and shutoff valves. Is it a bug or a feature? From the manual pages I think is the former (bug). I am using the release version at the time of this post. Vista, Suerte y al Toro! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

APU has its own fuel system, so it is ok I think Acer Aspire E5-571G-713W/Intel® Core™ i7-4510U 2.0-3.1GHz/12 GB DDR3 L Memo/NVIDIA® GeForce® 820M 2 GB/1000 GB HDD

Looney Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Not really. The APU is fed from the service tank on top of the helicopter and, in case of fuel pump failure, will allow gravity feeding to the consumers. The two fuel pumps fill the service tank and the service tank then feeds the engines and APU. The service tank pump acts as a booster pump but the consumers will get fuel if this pump fails. More info about the fuel system here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=151933&highlight=how+it+works One way to find out if the APU remains operative would be to fly the service tank empty and see if the APU stalls.
