666th_birdy Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Just stumbled on the pic below. It shows that trees can be placed close to the runway IRL just like the ones I added in my mod. Nice coincidance to see a weather station (or simular) right of the runway just like in my Merzifon AFB mod. The runway is no longer in use but since the grass etc is well mantained i gues it looked the same when it was in use. That does look really good but like Disso said not short finals for me =)

Not to mention the fact that trees will take years to decades to grow that big. I think we can safely assume that things didn't look too different back when it was still operational.
