Why not just licence Google Earth?

People are asking for NAS Fallon, 29Palms, ElTorro(closed), Ft. Irwin. Basically the desert areas of SouthWest United States. An area larger then many nations. So why not just licence Google Earth and ED just adds detail?

And what would that bring us? A map files with 2D textures, half of which ED can't use and the enormous task of filling it with 3D fluff...
