[RESOLVED]V1.5b freezing every 2 seconds

OK, after yesterday's update I'm now getting a freeze/stutter every 2 seconds of game time in a mission. Anyone else seeing this, or is it just me? No changes to the computer whatsoever, excepting the DCS patch applied yesterday, and Process Hacker doesn't show anything external hogging the cores so it has got to be the sim itself.

 

You guys seeing this as well?

 

EDIT: Small missions don't actually seem to suffer from this at all, whereas missions with lots of units do. F.ex. all MG-created missions are just unplayable now.

did you have any user modifications installed before patching?

 

if so remove them and try a repair.

 

If not attach your whole logs folder zipped and we will take a look

I always disable all mods before patching & did a repair too. No dice.

I have the same issue!

And i dont use any mods!

 

Had the same issue on NEVADA!

But i fixed it, when i have removed the Patriot and the S-300!

But this "fix" dont work here on 1.5!

I was just about to report this major issue with the latest 1.5 open beta update (DCS 1.5.3.53279 Update 7), but msalama has beat me to it. As he said small missions don't suffer from this, only missions with large amount of units in them.

Here's one. It's an AI only MG mission having no player AC, plus the player score annunciations are removed as well. I was about to use it as a basis for a quick and dirty action mission when I noticed the freeze and shelved it.

I have this issue in singleplayer and when i start the BASIS multiplayer-server.

The other player dont have this, they had no issues yesterday.

Everybody told me, that the server run very smooth.

But i cant fly, because of the stutters.

And the culprit was Gvodzika artillery, right?

Entirely possible, since it could well be there're other faulty units too.
