I can't seem to be able to lock any target using the head down display - at least not on the Virtual Aerobatics server. Anyone else has this problem? Thanks, e. Zombie. Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Hello. It seems like the radar cant lock unless you are in a missile or guns mode. Try getting into gun mode(without ammo) and see how that works. Ive had the problem myself, but selecting a weapon fixes it. :)
Frederf Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Are you using OA branch or Main/OB branch? PID has been bugged but fixed recently but I think it is still bad in OA. Please share a screenshot of your VTB with the TDC at the same range as the contact when locking is attempted (but unsuccessful). Also PID is only available in the interleaved and high PRF and PIC in high PRF.
