Kornskydiver Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Hey fellas, I have done hours of research and have printed the multi-monitor setup for dummies and I am still having issues setting up my triple monitors. The cockpit view is squished where the instruments looked like flattened ovals while the outside has a nauseating fisheye effect. I am running 3 x 22" monitors (16:10) at 5040x1050. I've gone into the lua files an added my resolution and 1.6 aspect ratio and I'm still having issues. My in game setting are as follows...." 1 screen, 5040x1050, 16:10 aspect ratio, and unchecked full screen. I would appreciate any help or guidance. I just spent hundreds on monitors and the thrustmaster warthog and for this to be the only thing preventing me from playing almost makes me want to club a baby seal. Please help! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Deezle Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 FWIW, you do not have to use surround with DCS (not that it hurts). I would suggest using the single screen profile, not the 3 screen one. Also I think you aspect ratio needs to be 4.8 (1.6x3). And make sure your left most monitor is your main display in windows. Kornskydiver Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 So it turns out my primary monitor was not actually on the far left! I swapped them out and booted back in the game with your recommended settings and still came up with a squished imaged. So I uninstalled the game, reinstalled and holy shitballs it worked! Thanks guys for your help! I can finally enjoy DCS! now back to some simming :) FWIW, you do not have to use surround with DCS (not that it hurts). hansangb Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 This post walks you through it step by step. Give it a shot to see if it helps. It assumes you are *not* using Nvidia surround. Just native DCS support. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
