nomdeplume Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) BR switch activates the "V" light under the RWR when in the 'on' position, instead of the BR light. When in the 'test' position the "BR" light blinks as expected but the "V" light remains lit. By the way... what does the "V" light indicate, anyway? Edited June 27, 2016 by nomdeplume Not a bug
gavagai Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I noticed that the ECM mode was in standby in 1.5.4. After I switched the knob to the square the Brouilleur light came on as normal. I think the V light is for standby, "veille." Tarres Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 BR switch: ECM Spirale system power on. Rotatory; V: system stand-by ,Square: ECM On. LL switch: it would power on flare/chaff dispensers. Not sure if it's implemented. The ECM suit is WiP as Zeus said.
nomdeplume Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 Okay, that makes some sense. I thought the BR indicator was the dispenser power, and LL was jammer switch (based on position and tooltip). But I do now vaguely recall something here being the wrong way around, and maybe that's not been fixed yet.
Azrayen Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 This is not a bug. Rather a fix for previous incorrect implementation ;)
gavagai Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Rather a fix for previous incorrect implementation ;) The only difference is the position of a switch when you load the simulation. When you do a quick mission you have to... turn on the radar turn on the IFF switch master-arm on switch gun-arm on ...all before the Migs launch a missile up your butt. Now I'll add powering on the ECM system.:music_whistling: P-51D | Fw 190D-9 | Bf 109K-4 | Spitfire Mk IX | P-47D | WW2 assets pack | F-86 | Mig-15 | Mig-21 | Mirage 2000C | A-10C II | F-5E | F-16 | F/A-18 | Ka-50 | Combined Arms | FC3 | Nevada | Normandy | Straight of Hormuz | Syria
Azrayen Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 It could (should?) be powered already for in-flight start, like the RWR; didn't check.
