uboats Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Impractical since livery files can be very large Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My DCS Mods, Skins, Utilities and Scripts | Windows 10 | i7-4790K | GTX 980Ti Hybrid | 32GB RAM | 3TB SSD | | TM Warthog Stick | CH Pro Throttle + Pro Pedal | TIR5 Pro | TM MFD Cougar | Gun Camera: PrtScn |
FlyMaker Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Sometimes you need only one Skin. I have MP missions with 30 MB and not have issues. I guess that is not a really big file. uboats Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 when you join a server, you need to download that miz, which can cause a long time, many livery can reach > 100MB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My DCS Mods, Skins, Utilities and Scripts | Windows 10 | i7-4790K | GTX 980Ti Hybrid | 32GB RAM | 3TB SSD | | TM Warthog Stick | CH Pro Throttle + Pro Pedal | TIR5 Pro | TM MFD Cougar | Gun Camera: PrtScn |
FlyMaker Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Sad =/ Make missions with custom skin is a real good idea for me. I dont care if i will lose 2/3 minutes downloading a .miz The compress of zip file do a good job. I have a Miz with 4 custom skins inside - 140mb - ( I try to do same thing as Kneeboard). After all the miz file have 40 mb System Specs: Windows 10 Pro x64, NVidia GeForce GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4GB, FX 8350 4.0 Ghz ( Cooled by Custom Cooler ), 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz , ASUS M5A97 R2.0, x1 240gb ssd (Windows) x1 120gb ssd (DCS World) x1 500gb hd, Thustmaster T Flight X, CH Pro Throttle and CH Pro Pedals
uboats Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 you can have a try, and integrate the livery as how it is done in saved game/dcs/ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My DCS Mods, Skins, Utilities and Scripts | Windows 10 | i7-4790K | GTX 980Ti Hybrid | 32GB RAM | 3TB SSD | | TM Warthog Stick | CH Pro Throttle + Pro Pedal | TIR5 Pro | TM MFD Cougar | Gun Camera: PrtScn |
FlyMaker Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 I will keep looking the files, not found anything yet and i don't have experience with lua and DCS files structure. System Specs: Windows 10 Pro x64, NVidia GeForce GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4GB, FX 8350 4.0 Ghz ( Cooled by Custom Cooler ), 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz , ASUS M5A97 R2.0, x1 240gb ssd (Windows) x1 120gb ssd (DCS World) x1 500gb hd, Thustmaster T Flight X, CH Pro Throttle and CH Pro Pedals
FlyMaker Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Example autoexec.cfg: options.graphics.maxfps = 30 options.graphics.render3D = false options.graphics.ScreenshotQuality = 75 -- add custom texture path -- note the slashes! table.insert(options.graphics.VFSTexturePaths, "c:/Users/<LOGIN>/Saved Games/DCS/MyTextures") I need to know where DCS extract the "Miz" file, if i put on this table the custom patch with liveries maybe that work. I made a search but without success. Anyone who know how DCS file structure works can help-me?
