Cravgar Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Hi There, I'm new to sims and recently started playing DCS and decided to start with the F15 as it seemed beginner friendly. I'm running a TM warthog and seem to be having issues with the trim in the F15. I've read posts stating that the CAS system means you do not need to trim but lots of other people saying yes you do and it does work. My problem is that if i fire a missile then the plane will be out of balance and I cannot seem to trim to correct for this. I've tried the bound keys on my TMWH and the keyboard commands but, both holding them down and continuously pressing. I've then tried the Kb commands in the P51 free plane and it worked just fine. Can anyone clarify for me if trim should be working in the f15c FC3 module? Thanks in advance.
Svend_Dellepude Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 If you have force feedback ON in options then turn it OFF and see if that doesnt fix the problem. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
Cravgar Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Thanks Svend_Dellepude! browsed options and the little bugger FF was ticked! Who would have thought when you have a non FF stick aye?!? :) Looks to be working nicely now, that might explain some of the interesting takeoff/landings ive been having to!
Svend_Dellepude Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I think it's on by default, dunno why. Glad i could help. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
