Hey, sorry if this has been covered, i couldn't see it. Is there any way to move the green circle cursor? I am running triple monitors - not in surround mode, because of this i have to set my left monitor as primary. It seems that the cursor loads to the primary screen and i haven't seen an option to move it anywhere. I'd rather not go into surround mode as it causes other problems for me. Thanks

Agree, DCS just got removed from my PC.

I think you can get a nvidia device (i dont know the name) that allows you run run an 'external graphics card' of sorts so that you can use a device like a surface pro.

Hi all, I'm looking for some advice regarding a virtual server for hosting a DCS world Server. I'm UK based and looking for recommendations for a hosting provider and not sure on the best one to pick. Obviously cost is one of the major factors. I've considered Azure but I'm not sure they are cost effective? I'm looking for recommendations and experiences of the community. Home hosting is an option however, I am not sure on bandwidth requirements for a server hosting up to 20 people for PVE based missions. I stream other games when the server would be running, also have other people in the household using the internet so don't want to end up with throttling issues, hence looking at a hosting provider.

Awesome thank you! What was you reason for using the DX buttons? I've started using USB[0x??] so far but want to make sure i learn the 'correct' way or best way to make these. Also I see you are not mapping the Joystick in your scripts, may i ask the reason why for that to?

Hi all, I used the target software some time ago with varyig success and ended up reverting back to the built in binding system. One thing that has constantly bugged me is the off positions not being picked up and the fact i was nt abke to change plane with having to exit dcs and load a new profile. Could someone confirm how you can set up scripts for different airframes and switch without closing apps down? Im sure i must have done something worng but not sure. The time has come where i want to invest in getting those switches working the way they should even if i need to use TARGET Thanks Crav

I'd also like to add that in my view manual align won't affect a mirage much at all. As dust off pointed out if you know how to you can have it up in the air very quickly and lots of people don't even bother to align. There are also some of us out there than do ground missions in the m2k and then resume a cap mission afterwards so limiting the slots also has other impacts. Whilst I personally would like to see more m2k slots I would have to lean towards not doing that for the risk of more air quake appearing as unfortunately those who ground pound in it are limited and because you can get it into the air quickly it would make things worse. The m2k is a good module and I pretty much only fly it but Bert makes a very good point in that when the changes were made to oc to limit fuel and missiles on the fc3 planes the mirage suddenly got more popular so therefore I would also say make the thing be refueled before startup is possible. Any solution here should be about balance and not just making more slots for something that is fotm

So..post deleted for asking a straight up question. @admin I'm sure many people would like a clarification on exactly what is was people were saying that is disputing or causing a squad flame war? It's a genuine question and didn't deserve a delete. If you can explain it to us maybe we can try to avoid this in future. I had issues with the profiles not working at all. I've since had other issues with the profiles causing problems for the stick being recognised and screwing up arma. Had to unplug the stick and mfds and put them into different USB ports to fix the issue. Clearly a target problem so stopped for now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey all, so... Its just about been 12 months since I got my DCS addiction and found OC and what a 12 months its been. I've gone from a 22" screen with a Saitek Cyborg Evo from the early 2ks to a lovely little setup now. 34" ultrawide screen Track IR TM Warthog TM MFDs MFG Crosswinds I've gone from just having the F15 to almost every module in the game! With a few good guys time was even found to form the Wardogs which is made up of a few of us regulars on the OC server. Mirk, I just want to say thanks to providing an awesome server and hope that we can continue to help the community grow! Without you this addiction may not have been so severe :) Here's to the next year of DCS and look forward to all the new toys we'll get to fly!

Can we break this down a bit? - cushy scripted auto lock features - what do you mean? - buggy really low heat signature against eos - compared to what? those huge fire spitting f15 engines? - ir missiles - really? i have no issues blowing them up with IR - a buggy radar that sees the range of jamming targets - is this not burn through like everyone gets? Now if these are bugs that exist on the Razbam M2k page then I apologise but i've not experienced any of these issues you talk about. I will agree that the FM was bad and is getting better, that being said its hard to compare against when its pretty much the only fully modelled fighter. is the A10 broken because it can take a pounding? To be honest, my advice would be: - if you dont like how buddyspike run the server then dont play it - If you feel these are bugs with the m2k get the evidence and send it to Razbam. The only thing they could do to slow the startup is force alignment but then people will still just align in the air, buttom line is it starts quicker but BOTH sides get it so the problem cancels itself out.....

Oh btw all, to anyone who put the creators update on, I rolled it back and and back and working now!

Hi HomeFries / @everyone, I've come across an issue lately whereby, after playing DCS and using these scripts, I've closed down the script editor and launched Arma 3 and notice that my hotas is completely unrecognised. It remains in this state until I reboot and swap the USB ports around so that the controller thinks its a new different one. Anyone else had this issue? It's quite annoying and preventing me from using the scripts.

Ive just got this working again but reverting the creators update: To uninstall the Creators Update, go to Start > Settings and click on 'Update & security'. Click the Recovery link and then click on 'Get started' under 'Go back to the previous version of Windows 10. GL

warning to people running windows 10. I'm pretty new to using these profiles but i put the creators update on my system and now things dont seem to work. I get a vitrual device showing in game but none of the buttons are being recognised. out of the game, script comes up and says 'm2k' for the module. s3+LOSB1 does not enable anything for me to switch profile. Event tester isnt picking anything up either.

Hi there, I think I know what the answer will be but I hope its not.... :) Do you have to purchase NTTR in order to host it? I've got it on my account but I use a separate account for server hosting (I assume this is the best/ only way to do it). Seems a bit backwards that you have to buy the map twice?

Hi there, I've recently been hosting a server off some kit I have lying around, and old dell laptop (https://www.cnet.com/products/dell-xps-12-9q33-12-5-core-i7-4500u-8-gb-ram-256-gb-ssd/specs/). Its been running 6-8 players absolutely fine but we are considering having a server to support up to 30 players 24/7. I'm curious as to what people are doing when hosting a server? Is it something in someones home or are people using a dedicated hosting company? We're primarily UK based but could consider USA. my ISP is currently virgin on a 150MB connection and getting about 5-10up. I'd like to know what other people are doing and if dedicated hosting is the best way forward which companies people are using? I considered a Azure Vm but i think to get a good enough spec would end up costing alot of ££ per month.

OC does have a teamspeak you can join to group with other there are many regulars on the server and several people always on the teamspeak. I think the details are either on the first page of this thread or in the briefing message when you Join Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you don't figure it one of the wardogs -{wd}- will be on I expect I'm sure they will be able to help, Silly question but you are turning the radios on right? ATC is a different frequency to awacs, I think it might be preset 2, the frequencies are probably on the breifing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi again! I have to say that this is one awesome set of profiles. I have a question around the mirage bindings, I've notice some like the battery power and jammer switches aren't working, as an Lua noob I'm not sure which file I should go in to fix these?
