granola1861 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Not sure if this is a bug but could very likely be something I'm missing in my startup sequence. I'm not getting afterburner or power beyond 89-90% with 1.5.4. I've checked my throttle axis and it is giving me 100%. This isn't happening 100% of the time either just around 90%. Is there a new step to the startup that I'm missing? Any help is appreciated. Best, Climber.
=OPS=Slider Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Have you tried the startup sequence using keyboard shortcut, and then check if the same thing happens? If not, there must be something that you missed, or there is a bug when starting up manually.

granola1861 Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 I'll have to try the shortcut. I just ran a mission and it worked. I run the A/B Cutoff switch off and on as part of my startup sequence to see if that has any effect. I've tweaked my throttle assignment a bit so I guess I'll continue to try to narrow down the possibilities. I know that in the Hawk manual they mention bringing up power slowly for some real life function to occur. Is there a possibility I'm running up the engine too rapidly causing a malfunction?? I've been slowly bringing up power to a taxi, stopping, applying brakes, then full power to see if A/B is gonna happen for me before I taxi all the way to the threshold. If I figure anything else out I'll post it here. Thanks for the responses. Best, Climber
N206LG Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Not working in version 1.5.5 either. Will check throttle config and report back.
Azrayen Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Is there a possibility I'm running up the engine too rapidly causing a malfunction?? No. Unless you've CALC failure.
N206LG Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Not a throttle config issue. Just started working again, after the latest update.
