BaxterCTC Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Evening All, Complete newbie to the forums so forgive me if this is in the wrong place, I'm sure somebody will point out an error. However I couldn't find a help thread newer than 2014 on the SU25. I have a sound bug which I can't seem to solve. I have all in game sounds internal and external on this aircraft apart from the engine. Internally if my throttle goes up 80% all engine noise disappears completely. Same for slower speeds. This makes judging my momentum and thrust on landing very difficult and when in combat very hard to judge my energy. I have all sliders at 100% and all my sound on the mixers in windows turned up. The sound is there but above a certain level it just cuts out. I know the cockpit is meant to be sealed and so 'realistically' I would hear very little but it's not real. I need my sound dammit. Any ideas short of a reinstall and try again? Ta, Bax
BaxterCTC Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Tried a steam file verification already. No joy.
BaxterCTC Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 I'm not sure how I did it or why this would work. I started Steam this morning, ran the verification again. Turned everything up to 100% again. Restarted the game, jumped in a mission and all fine. This had been bugging me for days so why this suddenly resolved it I don't know. Thanks for the help! Bax
