jasonstory44 Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Just got the Vive and hooked it up today...all I can say is wow! Couple questions I was hoping the community could chime in on. Is there a way to turn off the mouse/pointer being the center of your view and just using the real mouse to click switches and toggles like on a 2D screen. I know I can turn off labels so they don't keep popping up as I look around but I'd like to use the regular mouse. Second, is there a good place to learn about setting and tweaks for resolution with the Vive (ideally DCS Specific) but general Vive guidance would work too. Thanks in advance, Jason Win 10 Pro, Intel i9 9900k overclocked to 5.1 (water cooled), 64 gb Corsair Dominator platinum RAM (3444 MHz) Titan RTX overclocked and water cooled 1.1 TB SSD 2 TB M.2 SSD TM Warthog Stick and throttle MFG Crosswinds Reverb VR Buttkicker LFE, SimShaker, Jetseat. jasonstory44 Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Addendum- solved the mouse issue. My performance seems great and smooth even with everything jacked way up. Just was curious if there was anything to do to improve resolution or text in the cockpit and HUD especially? hansangb Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 If you look at the VR sub-thread, you'll be able to find the Vive thread where folks posted what files you can modify to make the HUD a little more readable. Also, if you download 1.5.4, there is a VR specific tab. I don't think that's Rift specific (although the pixel density setting *is* Rift specific) hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
