TimeKilla Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Found a decent documentary on the F-5 seems it's still used as a chase plane by NASA and that it can still tango with newer US fighters being used on exercises by opposing forces by Top US pilots. Cann0nF0dd3r Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 It is, NASA still uses them, the Navy uses them as part of VFC-13, the aggressor squadron based out of Fallon. I've seen them a few times here at Whidbey since the Growlers came online.
