DAC0832 is D/A conversion chip of 8 resolution. Which is complete compatible with microprocessor.The DA chip with the advantages of its low cost, simple interface, convert and control easy , is widely used in the MCU application system.D/A converter consists of eight input latch, 8-bit DAC registers, 8 D/A conversion circuit and control circuit.

Its main feature parameters is as follows:

* eight resolution;

* current stable time:1 us;

* can be single buffer, double buffer or direct digital input;

* need to adjust the linearity under the full scale;

* a single power supply (+ 5 v ~ + 15 v);

* low power consumption, 200 mw.

The relationship between input and output of DAC0832:

The work way of DAC0832:

According to the data of different control mode of DAC0832 latch and DAC register, there are three kinds of DAC0832 works: direct method, single buffer method and double buffering method.

Basic application of DAC0832 (converts the output current to a voltage) :

I'm confused? a digital to analog converter? like what a soundcard does? or are you trying to make a force feedback system for a controller?

what's the point of this thread?
