Hi All My name is Albions Dragon

I am currently new to flight sims and I have no knowledge of the terminology. My current control setup is the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS (both stick and throttle) I am currently looking to meet someone with a lot of patience to help me configure and completely set up my controls in DCS 1.5.4 currently I only have access to the SU-25 flanker and another one but I am hoping to change this once I have gained some experience with flight simulaters.

I have always wanted to do flight sims, but because mouse and keyboard is such a pain in the backside I've failed to keep interest. Now that I have spent the money on some proper kit I would like to get into it full time.

If you wish to help me drop me a private PM.

Thanks

Hey KeyserSoze, Thanks for the friendly welcome... I decided to wipe the entire controls list bound to the mouse and Hotas Categories, Fired up the SU25 Training and Mapping the inputs as I am learning the full operations of the aircraft.

Welcome! There's never too many flightsimmers.

A little word. Some of the Su-25T tutorials are bugged for some players. Emphasis on some. So if you encounter problems in the tutorials, it might be, that it is just broken, not necessarily that you are doing something wrong. Otherwise the Su-25T tutorials give you a good head start to get you going.

I've said it before to a couple of others, I would be glad to keep you company and toss in some advice as you progress, but my schedules are what they are, and for some strange reason I can't host a server, which makes co-op practice difficult.

Though, if you are interested otherwise, I, and a bunch of others are here to help. So feel free to contact if you are stuck.

Whether this helped or not, still:

Welcome to DCS. I hope you find a pleasant, if somewhat challenging stay ;)

Regards,

I don't know if you have seen any of these tutorials,

They got me off to a good start, but then I got distracted with my obsession with helicopters, he tells you the main switches and knobs you need to use, I will get back to it one day.

I also have the TM Warthog and I try to keep continuity with all modules and bindings, ie, radio's, flaps, airbrakes and views etc, makes things easier to remember in different aircraft.

Welcome to DCS World, hope you have fun.
