JABO2009 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Folks, the title says it all; as it's of course obvious , that the twin engine F5-E is best controlled with a dual throttle joystick or separate thrustpad: Is there a way to also operate it with a single thrust lever ? My Joystick (Saitek Cyborg V1) is pretty simple , with just one thrust lever.... I understand that the engines have to be spooled up separately; ... so is there a setting possible to manage the engine spoole up with keyboard and then swith to master control ( both engines) with the thrust lever of my Joystick ??? :joystick: Intel I7 - 10700 K @ 3,80GHz / 64 GB DDR3 / RTX 3090 / Win 10 Home 64 bit / Logitech X56 HOTAS / HP Reverb G2 Running DCS on latest OB version
FZG_Immel Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 yes, no worries. I play it with a cougar. the dual throttle is a nice additionif you have it, but isnt necessary at all. Yes, you switch from cut off to idle, with you keyboard. individually [sIGPIC]https://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic70550_3.gif[/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-H - SSD M.2 EVO 970 - Intel I9 @5.0ghz - 32gb DDR4 4000 - EVGA 3090 - Cougar FSSB + Virpil WRBRD + Hornet Stick - Thrustmaster TPR Pedal + WinWing MIP + Orion + TO and CO pannels - Track IR5
trippylummox Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 FZG Immel said it all. No need for a dual throttle joystick. :pilotfly:

PainQuota Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I've got a CH Pro Throttle and I'm having issues getting the engines started. The auto-start sequence doesn't work either. Will try the keyboard.
