Hi,

I used to have Windows 7 and ran the DCS 1.5 and 2.0 no problem.

I have since upgraded to new hardwares, intel CPU, GTX1070 and upgraded my operating system to Windows 10. I am no longer able to start either the 1.5 or the 2.0. I removed all software and re-installed the 2.0, still no joy. The Windows Event Viewer gives me the same error code as following:

Faulting application name: DCS.exe, version: 2.0.3.55457, time stamp: 0x579b502f

Faulting module name: WorldGeneral.dll, version: 2.0.3.55457, time stamp: 0x5792435d

I have searched around and tried a few things based on the forum suggestion but no improvement. Can anyone give me a hint to where to look? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Do you have headtracking different than TrackIR? If so, try starting the tracking before starting DCS. My DCS does not start if I have not started before tracking in OpenTrack.

 Me neither. After an update I played during the night then shut down the PC without issues. In the morning it didn't worked anymore... I scratched my head and tried to think what could be different and that was the only thing.
