Goblin Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 there was altitude change, the 1st angle wasn't noticeable because he rolled out, so the change in elevation was more along the horizon instead of vertical Yeah, there is a small altitude increase when performing a cobra. the Flanker has that as well. ${1}
streakeagle Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Keys to performing a Cobra: 1. Control authority to rapidly exceed 90 degrees of AoA. 2. Stability to rapidly recover to level flight upon reaching above AoA. 3. Engines that continue to run and develop decent thrust during the above AoA excursions. Goblin Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Hence "little to no change". "Small" fits into that general bracket. Yep! And that's what I'm seeing in the Draken video. Disagree?
