Azazel Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) Anyone confirm if the AIM-9Ps are bugged. Not the AIM-9P5s btw just the Ps. I've had a few leave the rail now in a shuddering like manner and they miss (seem to circle around targets) often. Azazel Posted August 19, 2016 Author Posted August 19, 2016 Interestingly enough, the odd behavior may only happen when the AIM-9P is launched from too close a distance. Still buggy looking but maybe intended? Did you ever stop to wonder why a US Navy physicist stationed in China Lake, California, named a missile after a Mojave Desert rattlesnake that slithers sideways and can sense prey in infrared?
