DIY Warthog Question

Hey Guys!!!

 

Just got my TM Warthog and im already mounting it on my seat (in between the legs) so I've been reading around and so far here's what i know:

 

short mount is like 7.5cm

Thread required is M36x2

PS/2 extension cable required

 

What i would like to ask is does anybody know the diameter of the pipe of the extension needed to fit the warthog base and stick? Sorry I need to be baby explained this cos i'm not that technical, though i have a friend working in cost. that can help me out make a short extension for my warthog.
