Hello guys.

I made a mission trying to emulate some Electronic Warfare, where an aircraft, flying above any radar, would put it in red state. So it does not work. So all aircrafts close to him, arent attacked too.

Now that my skills are better at progrmming.

Can I make that a SAM dont shoot at you or any other aircraft close to you, without making you invisible. So, i want to be make aircrafts in moving zone invisible for radar only.

ANother option, is just to make missiles to explode well before contact.

Any suggestion?

How about making the SAM site inactive from the start of the mission??? If you want to make it active later setup a trigger to do so......just a thought

Nop, i haven't been clear of what I want to get.

Imagine, you and 3 more mates, flying into very populated area with SAMs. Then one of your mates is flying a "growler" so, every fligth is safe flying near that aircraft, if you go away, you are not protected. So, it is not a matter of avoid being shot, it is just to make more "realistic" by adding a new "wapon". Take into account that seems easy, but this Growler should be escorted, and the escort if goes away of the Growler would be shot down too, and you are not covered against IR, so... it is really interesting the concept for planning missions, timing, routes...ect.

Not that I can think of. You can only stop the SAM from shooting at anyone, or make particular units invisible to all AI.

I think destroying the missiles in-flight would be doable. I read a mention of a "smoky SAMs" script people were using for training purposes, which I assume deletes or explodes the missile before impact so you can practice evasion.

Can't find it, but I imagine it uses an event handler to detect when a surface-to-air missile is spawned into the world and then schedules a timer to remove it after an appropriate amount of time.

Main problem is that it will still cause the battery to use up its missiles trying to shoot at the "jammed" targets which will also result in it not being able to engage anything that's not protected.
