Simon81 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 So... I was growing up in the vicinity of airfield where Mig's had flown. Couple days ago I was flyin' with some Mirages online, and when I was still cold and dark in hangar they were taking off... Then I heard this loud "afterburner kick" and I recalled my childhood. That sound was almost the same I heard when Polish Mig's were taking off... And now question: is it possible to implement this sound to Mig's sounds?
simapajik Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) As users found Mig-21 is used for external sounds Default sounds DSC World. These sounds are placed in the directory: "DCSWorld \ Sounds \ Effects \ Aircrafts \ Engines" Sounds from LN MiG-21bis are located in the following directories: "DCSWorld \ CoreMods \ aircraft \ MiG-21BIS \ Sounds \ Effects \ Aircrafts \ MiG-21 \ Engines" "DCSWorld \ Mods \ aircraft \ MIG-21bis \ Sounds \ Effects \ Aircrafts \ MiG-21 \ Engines" When you listen to the sounds you'll find that they resemble true. Taxiing, Aftrburner. At the forum, I asked why they are used default sounds DCS World when Mig has created real. It was not answered. :music_whistling: :music_whistling: Edited August 24, 2016 by simapajik <White Tiger> [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

FishbedBG Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I think that for almost 2 years many people became used to the "vacuum cleaner" external sounds of the MiG... I'm a little bit worried but i'm sure R-25-300 will sound as it should be... soon :)
