Rakuzard Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) The 9pm time given in the doodle - which timezone? I suspect CET, given that you are in Belgium? EDIT: disregard my post. Just found the timezone setting in the doodle... well hidden in the lower right of the description :D Edited August 25, 2016 by Rakuzard - Deutsche Tutorials und DCS Gameplay: youtube.com/Rakuzard | raku.yt/discord -
FlightControl Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Yes. Sorry. Forgot to mention that. Time zone is CET. This time is convenient for most people participating from CET and americas time zones... If people from Asia want to join also, that is possible but then I'll need to conduct two workshops [TABLE][sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]| Join MOOSE community on: DISCORD  Website of the MOOSE LUA Framework. FlightControl Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 Upon request of our team @ slack.com, many have requested a "lua" training. So, maybe I'll put on the top point on the agenda a 'lua" training for DCS world, usiing MOOSE. With lua training I mean, provide an overview of the lua basics that explain: - variables (local and global) - tables - operators - conditions - loops - functions and return - functions in tables - the : notation... Object Oriented lua - how to extend an object with functions (needed for the new AI pattern classes) - "tricks" in lua using MOOSE: - import moose.lua in your missions - overview of the MOOSE classes - debug/follow your logic using moose debug statements - example missions The framework is becoming "huge" and "powerful". So covering all will be nearly impossible within one workshop. But the workshop will focus on getting you on the way. maybe i will plan 2 workshops, one for lua and the other for MOOSE workshop #2... FlightControl Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 This meeting never took place, because nobody was interested in such a workshop.
