after I install DCS NEVADA or mi-8, I noticed, once enter cockpit, my Microsoft FFB2 stick centered by itself (without hand on stick).

normally, as all other force feedback stick, MS FFB2 stick has senser, if hand grab stick and block the senser, it will activate its motors.

I don't want my force feedback stick recenter itself, how can I switch off the function?

what I want is no hand on stick, no motor activated

due to my ffb2 recenter itself , I can not autopilot my PMDG 738 ngx now

and one more question, in UH-1 and Mi-8 setting page, trimmer option have "center position trimmer" and "stick without spring and FFB"

what are the differences between these two options?

No idea about the first part, though I can't imagine how DCS would affect controller operation in FSX/P3D.

About the last question - these are options for non-FFB stick users. With the first one you have to center the real stick immediately after pressing the trim button (virtual stick remains in trimmed position), with the second one you don't center it (both real and virtual stick are in the same position where you placed them).

Thank you for your answer!

Do you mean " center position.." option is also for non-FFB stick users?

second one is no doubt for "without spring and FFB stick"

So, am I right? only default one is designed for FFB stick?

about the first part. Before install DCS nevada or Mi-8, my MS FFB2's default situation is when hand off, the stick is loose ( can be move to eny point, not center) without motor power. even in cockpit, only when hand grap stick blocking the sensor, stick will recenter itself

But now, the FFB2 default situation is motor forced at the center, like a normal spring stick. Once enter cockpit, vithout hand on stick, the stick will recenter itself and swing heavily for short moment.

what did DCS do to FFB2?

Bin, I have the same stick.

Make sure the sensor window and LED at the top and bottom of the handgrip are clean.

That part of the joystick operation is completely external to DCS.

Yes, "center....." is for non-FFB sticks too, an it works as explained in quick-start manual. I don't know what option FFB users should choose, though, 'cause I've never had such stick.
