I just got a new Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X to use with DCS Huey, KA-50 BS2 modules and the airplanes. I like using the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X quite well but I'd like to customise it a bit. I want to know it it's possible in DCS or the Huey options, to reverse the joystick's throttle so that when I pull it back towards me it will gain power. The throttle's handle also has a large rocker switch on the grip that I now use to zoom in and out. If I press the right side it zooms out and if I press the left side it zooms in. I'd like to reverse this also. I know that this is backwards from a real aircraft's throttle but many years ago while learning to fly the choppers in the Battlefield 1942's Desert Combat mod and many other Battlefields , I developed this habit and can't enjoy flying a chopper any other way. I gave this joystick a test on one of the BF3 choppers and it's bind key feature allows for the throttle direction to be programmed either way. As of now if I separate th TMTFHX into parts and turn the throttle around backwards I can fix both of my issues. However, I'd really like to reconnect to joystick into one unit. Please help if you can....

In DCS setup select the Heli, then select the axis (e.g throttle) click in Axis Tune,

check "reverse" and "slider" (axis without middle), if need set axis deadzone, response curve.

Same for axis (the rocker) assigned for ZOOM.

Hi Skyfoxx,

you CAN reprogramm the HOTAS X buttons on the stick natively. That´s what I did and it works great with DCS and other games (EECH)!

Have a read on my post:
