Braeden108 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I'm wondering how hard it would be to put some red/green LESs on my throttle next to my gear switch and have them be programmed to turn on and off when the in sim gear lights turn on and off. Im thinking of using my arduino to do this but this chip would also be running mmjoy. I'm not sure it can do both though. I do have another chip but it runs at 8 mhz Light the tires kick the fires! Sokol1_br Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Commanded by sim will be more difficult, and doable if sim export data, e.G. DCSW, War Thunder, and need a I/O controller board - MMjoy2 is I/O only for War Thunder. By "hardware" will be more easy, just replacing the switch in throttle by one similar DPDT. One pole do the actual switch job, the other turn ON/OFF the LED, connected though a resistor in +/Gnd points in throttle circuit (or use external power source).
Braeden108 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Out of curiousity how do people run their lights in their simpits? DCS bios? Helios? Light the tires kick the fires! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
