SCU Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 The latest 2.0 patch included further improvements to the TAS and the gun pipper, sadly ED did not release a patch for 1.5 so we will have to wait for that, maybe friday? But in 2.0 does it work like in the videos I had linked? i.e. the pipper replaces the FPM with the pitch ladder slaved to the pipper. HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog PC: it's much better now

I have also asked some questions regarding 2.0 on the ECM thread but no responses from the people who have tested the latest patch. SCU Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 It does look like FPM needs to be replaced when using the sight it overlaps sometimes and it messes people up Well it's something specific to the Mirage(s) AFAIK, but other fighters, mostly US, don't have pippers that conveniently replace the FPM, they just coexist. It's a big advantage for declutter especially the pitch ladder slaving to the pipper part, it basicly means that almost no symbology will overlap with the pipper. Gunnergolly Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Tried AG gunnery for the first time in 2.0.3 and followed the steps in the above video. Whenever i select gun mode K2, TAS and RS my radar display goes black which is fine but i'm not getting the TAS, RS, Artificial Horizon, Bullseye indications like Zeus does in his video. Also my "Gun Pipper" is not live and is bore-sighted about 3/4's the away up my HUD. As i get within range (max 2.4km) and the pipper "unwinds" itself i have to place the gun pipper slightly above the target for a hit. What do i have to do to get the TAS, RS, AH and Bullseye indications on my radar screen ?. Thanks. Please could somebody confirm that the AG gunnery/TAS mode is not working as intended.
