AMVI Online Campaign 2016/2017

[AMVI_Hawk]

Dear Friends,

 

On the second half of November 2016, AMVI (Aeronautica Militare Virtuale Italiana) will carry out an online "campaign" (means a series of subsequents Missions) based on DCS World : AMVI will fly with DCS A-10 Warthog and KA-50 Black Shark but also Mirage, F-15, Su27 and others will be available.

 

We are interested in collaborate with other Groups, so you are invited to participate to our events.

All pilots will fly into an intense thater of operation; communications will be performed in english, under the directives of human ATC and JTAC, using standard brevities and procedures.

 

Foreign groups are invited to join and will be employed twice in a month.

Details of our Missions will be posted here and on the “External Group Area” section of AMVI Forum (http://www.amvi.it).

Register there for free, in order to have acces to the AMVI's activities carried out with other groups of virtual pilots; after the login, send me a PM iso I'll to give you the credit to access at that Forum Area.

 

We remarks that the first goal of this campaign is training, collaboration and have fun.

You can also post here your availability; we'll keep you informed about the dates of the events.

will this be only available to Squadrons or "Lone Wolves" too?

Our preference is to have squadrons, because of common procedures and training within same members but I cannot limit the participation, this is into the hands of the Mission Commander.

When on time, you can register to our forum and verify if that option is available (flights not filled).

Good to read. I only had the chance to particpate once but really enjoyed it. Some members of vJaBoG32 will surely be in for the campaign. Unfortunately is my own playtime quite short but mybe I find Some time somewhere...

 

What radiomod are you planning to use for your next sessions?

But UR will be Pay2Use after Sep. (AFAIK) and also not support every aircraft (but yes all available slots will be supported).

No, there will be a limit only for the TOTAL number of participants, depending on the type of missions and number of available flights.

About the Radio, I have read about payware but I need to get info from the Mission Commander.

FWIW guys our squad is now planning to switch to Simple Radio Standalone and it is outstanding and super easy to set up! We are switching over from Univers Radio

 

Sounds fun- if lone wolves are ultimately allowed I'd try to hope in for some missions

Hi Ramsey, I think we use UR because of LotATC works together.

I am operative with F4BMS and I do not know many tricks with DCS. I'll pass the information to my collegues.
