DrBackJack Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Ever since the latest update I've been having a problem where in the A-10 and KA-50 sometimes in multiplayer my viewpoint will be farther forward than it should be. It happens about 75% of the time in multiplayer. Eventually after restarting my game a few times my viewpoint will be back to normal. Normal location in singleplayer Location in multiplayer I've reinstalled the game and deleted my saved games files and it still does it. Edited September 23, 2016 by DrBackJack
nic464 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I got the exact same problem happening in multiplayer Really annoying
Nu-NRG Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Most likely the mission designer did not exclude the view settings from a mission. I was accused of that not to long ago and I then fixed my mission accordingly Aviate - Navigate - Communicate
nic464 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Interesting... it happen on all the most played server (blueflag/104th and lots of others)
Fri13 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I don't know has it always been so, but noticed it few weeks ago that in A-10C the default viewpoint is way too forward. Just by turning head (using TrackIR) it is like the pilot would be having face smashed to the HUD. While the default viewpoint should be like the helmet would be near the chair headrest. But problem is that moving viewpoint to further back makes the HUD symbols go outside of the HUD so you can't see anything correctly and need to come forward. And I remember that coming forward in previous versions (1.2.x) the system worked as should. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
DeliriumTr Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I get this too. I get it always, in single player and multiplayer, training... always. I started to play recently so, although it was weird, I thought it was working as intended by the devs :P Now the question is, how do we get rid of that?
