Iberian Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 So now with shadow play gone, and the new Geforce Experience "share" feature. I'm having issues getting to turn on the overlay with DCS. It keeps giving me a message saying "A full screen game is required for this feature"....even after setting DCS to full screen. Is there a work-around for that? Or a way to get it to record without fullscreen? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
2IAE-CrashBG Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Right Alt + Enter will fix it, even though DCS is set to fullscreen in the options, you need to do this for GF Exp/Shadowplay to start working. zaelu Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 It's the same as Shadow Play only they made the interface like Windows10/XBox and scattered the options differently go to privacy and check to record desktop capture and it will work. knix15 Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 it works without desktop capture, just check full screen in settings, and alt-enter before record.
zaelu Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 It's one way or the other. But checking that option will make easier to record even if you forget to alt+enter. Also the game becomes a bit unresponsive when At+Tab-ing after you force it true full screen with alt+enter so it might be an inconvenient for some. Iberian Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 Thanks for the reply guys. For some reason I don't have a privacy section on my preferences...quite odd. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
knix15 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 probably you still use the 2.x version, try the 3.x version of Geforce Experience
