ParaRabbit Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Hello All, I am very new to DCS and have a G940 HOTAS system. I really like the 940 but am having huge issues in trying it set it up for DCS. I have had a look on the forum and other websites on how to set this system up for DCS but I continually have the same issues. Pedals works, Joystick works, how ever I cant seem to be able to set the throttles up to work. Any help would be hugely thankful... Cheers, Chris
aeliusg Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I've not used my G940 in a while, but I remember something about there being multiple mode settings on the throttle. You may want to see if those are interfering in any way with it being recognized in DCS.
ParaRabbit Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Thanks aeliusg. I'll do some more research :)
aeliusg Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Since you're still up, you do have the right version of the Logitech Gaming Software, right? G940's only work with 5.10 and below. Their more recent software doesn't support it.

ParaRabbit Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Does throttle appear on DCS controls menu? It does appear and I can use the throttle body button, however I am unable to set up the throttle slide for throttle control
cthulhu68 Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) In control menu go to axis assign scroll down to where ypu see throttle command and over to your throttle column and click box bottom of scrren click add when box opens up move throttle fwd and back until it registers press ok also make sure nothing else is bound to throttle command If moving throttle doesn't work you can select it in key/button drop down box Edited October 4, 2016 by cthulhu68
