Oceandar Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) I don't know why, every time I change my Saitek X52 profile while have DCS running it makes DCS freeze (not responding). So I need to close DCS, change the profile and run DCS again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both driver and software to no avail. It worked fine before without this problem, unfortunately I can't track the changes I've possibly made that caused this problem. I'm using Win 10 Pro Thanks in advance for you help Edit : It seem Saitek profile software doesn't get along with GeForce Experience. I uninstalled GeForce Experience and the problem solved. BadHabit Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 You gave the answer yourself. You need to restart in any change just like you have in track IR I guess. Don't know the techy reason behind this but it's not your fault. Oceandar Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Excuse me, but what do you mean by "just like you have in Track ir" ? Gam Zeh Ya'avor - King Salomon Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power. - Lao Tze
BadHabit Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I'm not using track IR. But from friends who play with me that always complain that they need to restart the game to change profiles. Anyway it's just the way it is. cthulhu68 Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Some people have the game freeze when changing control inputs in the main menu while others have this issue in game. One or the other should work without freezing game. For me in game has no issues.

I don't think it should be like this as I said it used to work fine. Thanks for your respond Gam Zeh Ya'avor - King Salomon Edited October 5, 2016 by Oceandar Mastering others is strength. Its quite irritating in MP because you should close DCS just to change the profile to fly other aircraft. What OS you are using ? Cheers Gam Zeh Ya'avor - King Salomon Mastering others is strength. cthulhu68 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I'm using Win-10. Sorry my response was off track. I thought maybe changing inputs inDCS menu and loading profiles might work or not work the same way. I was referring to manually changing inputs in DCS menu only.

Its quite irritating in MP because you should close DCS just to change the profile to fly other aircraft. My suggestion is, drop the Saitek SW profiles and use in-game settings only. I did that, and got a much more stable controller out of it, back when I used x52. With a little ingenuity you can make almost exactly same settings in DCS as you can in the Saitek SW.
