I just finished the campaign for the Sabre and really enjoyed it, I'll let it rest a bit then try with the Mig. Great work, Apache, it was a blast!

Spoilers ahead, you've been warned!

A few comments, perhaps useful for a future campaign or just as general feedback.

What I liked less:

  • mission 6 was intense and that's good, but it was a bit random, had to re-do it several times and I had the feeling I had nothing to do with the failures. Maybe it's the nature of it though, or perhaps even a bit intentional?
  • the big performance hit in mission 7 "Eye for an eye", I'm still unsure where it's coming from... yes, maybe the smoke, but it was still hitting me well after the main battle was finished and I couldn't properly shoot the assigned targets because of that [sOLVED IN LATER UPDATE];
  • when leading a flight, with the other relic aircraft, they actually seem to lead and tell what to do. Perhaps it should be reversed or the F10 menu could be used? Also, not possible to control the flight when leading, neither of those are a big deal though.

What I liked very much:

  • the storyline is good, even if that's pure fiction, the mix of all those generations has been well done and it's immersive. Also, it's a long campaign and enjoyable from the first to the last mission!
  • the variety of the missions, and the little surprises within missions. It never felt boring or repetitive, there's also a progression in the difficulty that was welcome;
  • the fact missions span from ramp start to landing and parking, which really makes it more real and immersive;
  • voice-overs and documents, very good packaging! I wish I knew sooner it was possible to have the documents separately but it's just me not reading the forums;
  • by anticipation, the mirroring Sabre/Mig missions with aircraft from "the other side" (my guess from the names I saw in Tacview, I may be wrong). Should make for a very interesting comparison.

You have brought those nice relic aircraft to life, looking forward to your next creation :)
