Fuel warning Lights

I'm not 100% sure about that, but i think the lamps should lit, if you haven't installed the external tanks.

No the external tank light won't lit if you have no external tank, because the light is triggered by a sensor in the bottom of the tank and maybe the pump pressure (I don't remind exactly).

 

No external tank = no light trigger.
