kadda
What I would really like to learn is the "Plane ID" that the export uses to get arguments for the L-39., can you explain me what do ou mean by "plane ID" exactly ? sorry i didn t saw this part of the question ... i thought that you need only the dimentions of the instruments ... JG14_Smil
Oh, thanks Kadda. That was for the export lua plane ID. I no longer need it as I can use Ikarus and hopefully Helios to run my IP gauges and LED exports. Please, disregard all my earlier questions and enjoy your project! Video link worked great. TripRodriguez
@Kadda Not very often I see someone else's simulator that makes me super jealous anymore, but this one does! That is beautiful. Might you share what you paid for it? Good luck getting it up and running! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Demo of my 6DOF Motion VR Sim:

Might you share what you paid for it? Good luck getting it up and running! thank you TripRodriguez, so as i said in that begining of this thread, i bought it in auctions, i was lucky that day cuz all people were interested in other thinks and no one wanted it so i get it for the equivalent of aprox 2k $, but i spend another k for transportation and an other for all documents but i really think that it s cheap because it s a full cockpit, instructor panel beside of it and all of the sim is motioned by hydro :) ... you can come any time for a flight no need to be jealous :) With respect _________________ Kadda _________________ My works TL-39 (NewGen) project (Ру)/(EN)

Where are you located, I suspect it's a very long swim from where I am to where you are. I would love to see many more pics of that sim, especially looking down into the cockpit. TripRodriguez
@kadda I personally would be interested in "before" pictures as well, how it looked when you first got it, especially inside. What are you planning to use for your DCS display? Projector setup? Trip [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Demo of my 6DOF Motion VR Sim:
kadda
@kadda I personally would be interested in "before" pictures as well, how it looked when you first got it, especially inside. What are you planning to use for your DCS display? Projector setup? Trip ok i ll put some photos of it before my work, for the moment i use just one projector as it was originally, but my plans are to make a half or 3/4 sphere with projectors, but i think that this way it will be little problematic to make planar to spheric projection ... , you need to know that i m far to be a specialist it s my first project in pit building ... ( so i m sure after seeing YOUR 6DOF sim that you can more than help me with mine if i ask the right questions :) ) but what i kcan tell you about how worked this sim before me, it was working with 380 volts AC 400hz so all the instruments have to be internally changed to work with 5 - 12 volts DC ... kadda
Algeria is a long swim. :) where are you with your own project my friend ? did you make it with ikarus ? do you still need the modul for DCS bios ? mine is ready but without swiches ... i can share it with you if you still need it ... TripRodriguez
I'll be happy to help however I can, but I too am only able to do this stuff with LOTS of help from the internet! It's an amazing age we live in. As far as the spherical projection, just like with my project there are other people a lot smarter than me who've done it first so we've got a good chance of learning from them!
