sew333 Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Hello. My card Gigabyte 1080 Xtreme, no OC. 6700K stock, psu Corsair 750 RM. Temps are fine. Problem is in GTA V. Listen. The problem I get however is sudden drop for just 1 second to 2D clocks on my, causing massive FPS lag, a second later the clocks go back up again. Just drop from 1975mhz to 291mhz for one second. Gpuz reporting UTIL reason. Here is screen from GPUZ during that spike i added black arrows and you can clearly see UTIL reason as core drop from 1975mhz to 291mhz for just one second during stutter ): This happens at ANY stage. Nothing to do with in-game activity or scene or whatever. It drops once every few hours, very rarely. Its hard to catch. But i want to be sure that is hardware or software related? I have latest driver version. Also tried with 368.69 and the same problem. Windows 10 Anniversary. Nothing overclocked in system. This issue not happens in 3dmark 11 & 13 or Unigine Heaven and not even in Mafia 3 or Quantum Break.
