Fer109 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) With weight on wheels normaly all fighter´s radar are not able to transmit even in OPR mode (problably in order to prevent radiations to ground crew). But I had "nails" in my RWR from my F-5 wingman while taxiing on ground. So, RDR was transmitting on ground, and it is supposed to not to do that. PD: Same bug can be also detected in FC3 fighters... but they are supposed to be only "mid-fidelity" flight simulation. Edited October 27, 2016 by Fer109
ED Team cofcorpse Posted November 9, 2016 ED Team Posted November 9, 2016 You are not correct here. Common logic can't be applied here, because there is no such limitation on F-5E. It is specially mentioned in Flight Manual Normal Procedures to not turn radar emission on ground to avoid danger to personnel. 1
Fer109 Posted November 9, 2016 Author Posted November 9, 2016 You are totally right. I also found in manual the "warning" you mentioned. Sorry for my "guessing".

wrewdison Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Shouldn't the wingman AI then follow procedure and not have his radar transmitting?
