Panhead Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I have message that displays info via F10 comms menu request. Currently, the message displays to a coalition or globally. I'd prefer the message to display only for the player that chose the F10 option. My problem is finding out who executed it. Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction, or show me a similar piece of code I can modify to suit my needs?
feefifofum Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 There's probably a faster scripting solution but if you only have a few aircraft you can use RADIO ITEM ADD/REMOVE FOR GROUP and MESSAGE TO GROUP and place player flights in individual groups. Takes many more triggers obviously so it depends on how big of a PITA it would be in your specific case. :) THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
scrapple Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I just asked basically same question a couple days ago here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=176178 Bottom line is there isn't a way to do what you (or I) want to do, which is identifying the aircraft unit that selected the menu option. The only workaround is to put each human client aircraft in a different group, as others have suggested. According to Grimes, DCS may add this in the future. Sure hope so!
