I have reported some bugs with the starter and the oil gauge in the 190.

The thread is here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=176510

With the latest 1.5.5 patch, some errors has arisen with the 190 (tested in Quick start mission Cold Start):

  1. Battery power is too low to move the starter, one needs to connect to ground power to make it turn the engine
  2. Even with ground power, the starter seems to take longer to wind up.
  3. Sound of the starter is muffled, sounds weird and difficult to hear.
  4. When started, the Oil Gauge stays at zero.
This has no effect on the engine however, it keeps functioning as normal, incl. normal temperatures.

The issue is present at a friend of mine as well.

He even got problems after a while, that even ground power did not help.

Have any of you experienced the same?

@moderators: Since the above mentioned thread was moved to this sub-forum, maybe merge this thread with it?

Yep, same here. Audio changes affected the starter, which can be barely heard from cockpit. Listening in F2 view indicates that it spools up in a rather similar time with or without ground power, but it seems to spool to a little bit higher RPM, cranking the engine easier. Not strongly enough though.

We seem to be having similar bug to P-51 last year, when glitched oil system simulation made running the engine difficult.

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
