Spuddog Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I was wondering if it normal for the cockpit to look a bit different in 2.0 than it does in 1.5? I'm new and still learning. The cockpit looks a bit smaller in 2.0.
Aginor Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Hi and Welcome to the forums! Perhaps it is your Field of View options, or the effect is caused by lighting or something. The cockpit geometry has not changed as far as I know. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
MikeMikeJuliet Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 As Aginor says, the field of view is probably a bit different between the versions. Try using numpad / and * for zooming (not sure if they are the same keys for other keyboards... mine is nordic/finnish). DCS Finland | SF squadron
Spuddog Posted November 11, 2016 Author Posted November 11, 2016 Actually, it's as though the game is not filling up my whole screen. It looks like it's "sandwiched" between the top and bottom. It looks thinner. I tried a couple of screenshots to compare, but it didn't capture what I'm trying to describe.

If you set the game to be in borderless window, you should be able to take said screenshots. And while you are at it, see if your aspect ratio is the same between the versions. Sounds like the game is for some reason running in the wrong ratio. DCS Finland | SF squadron
Spuddog Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 I found the answer. I had to set the graphic setting to match my desktop setting. Thanks guys for the tips.
