Beeroshima Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 (edited) I'm having a strange issue in 1.5.5 When I fly the A10C, Some of my viewports from my monitor config file are not rendering as they should be according to the set coordinates and dimensions. I have a 3 monitor setup. Two stacked vertically, and one off to the right. I used the exact same config file for 2.0 and it works just fine in 2.0 It's stretching the clock, countermeasure panel and a few others and putting them over on the 3rd screen on the right. I can't for the life of me figure out what is going wrong. Here is a link to my monitor setup file in my saved games folder on my C drive. Note, I haven't input all of the coordinates for my setup yet. The file, regardless of what i enter for anything other than the 2 mfcd's doesn't respond. If i load the same file in vegas, everything is appearing and moving according to my input in the lua. I'll finish replotting the coords once i figure this out. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ay74rqajy34zhj3/Helios2017Test.lua?dl=0 This file is working fine on 2.0 Here is a screenshot of what I'm getting when I run this file in 1.5 I've circled the stretched misplaced viewports in red on the right. Note: I have helios turned off for this picture, and i'm running dcs on a 4k television above a 3440x1440 monitor below it. The monitor off to the right where the stretched, incorrect viewports are showing up is a 1920 x 1080 monitor. Edited November 14, 2016 by Beeroshima
hansangb Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I know syntax has changed somewhat. Does the configuration show up in the SETUP page? It probably doesn't, right? You're missing some commas and a few other commands. Check out this working config/example hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
Beeroshima Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 No, it does show up in the setup page, i'm not sure what would make the exact same monitor config lua show up and work perfectly in 2.0 but be all glitched out in vegas...
Beeroshima Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 I'm familiar with how to edit the lua with notepad++ I'm changing the coordinates of some of the viewports, but they aren't responding in 1.5.5 When i edit them in the notepad for 2.0, they move just fine. I had this working perfectly before, upgraded to windows 10 and put everything back in, only to have 2.0 work and 1.5.5 crap itself. The other thing that's really weird, is the Left and Right MFCD's from the monitor file are working and responding to coordinate changes
Beeroshima Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 I'm not sure where it happened, but somewhere, my install just wasn't working right. Overnight, I downloaded a fresh install of DCS and now everything is working properly. Weird to say the least, but I'll take it.
