Tdaffy Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 This is the message that I keep getting.... "Unable to update. File or directory unavailable or corrupted." Before that I was getting... "Cant create directory C:\program files (x86)\DCS World 2 Open Alpha\downloads\Bazar/Liveries/TF-51D/TF-51 Gentleman Jim/:(1392) The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" Now, whenever I try to do a manual update....Nothing happens. Game launches. Maps show that new terrain and airports are updated, but everything reads as version 2.0.3. I've done the following: Cleaned up Bazar/Liveries Repaired (manually with command prompt) Attempted update manually (command prompt) Cleaned up directories...other Verified available space....1.14 TB free Compared log files.... I'm pretty much at the point of just deleting the whole set and trying a clean install. Am I missing anything before that though? Any ideas? Never had issues or problems before.:music_whistling:
AtaliaA1 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Cleaned up Bizar /Liveries means that you deleted them and did a repair? Cleaned up directories...other. Means you deleted them also and did repair? This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig. Vlerkies Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Tdaffy Maybe try do a repair. This can help, download the latest version of this application in this post. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053 Once downloaded place the file in your main DCS route folder, then run the app. It gives you options to update/repair/ and in advanced options revert to older versions.
